The Ionic 12v 100ah lithium battery comes equipped with a state-of-the-art Battery Management System (BMS) for safety reasons. This system helps ensure that your battery stays safe at all times. Controlled by a microprocessor, it monitors the main operating parameters while safely charging and discharging. That includes voltage, currents, and internal temperatures (and other things). For instance, if the internal temperature of your battery is below freezing, your LiFePO4 battery is “smart” enough to not accept a charge.
